May 6 2016, will see a very special unprecedented local event when HM Queen Elizabeth II attends a service of Thanksgiving at St Peters in Berkhamsted. Rector of St. Bartholomews, and the United Benefice of Northchurch and Wigginton, Jonathan Gordon, will be in attendance as a special guest. The Queen is celebrating her 90th birthday this year and is now the longest reigning monarch as well as the oldest in British History. She is coming to Berkhamsted to support the community as well as celebrate the 475 anniversary of the Berkhamsted School, of which she is Patron.
Following relocation to our own building in Tring, 2016 has seen Romerco investing in deeper links with the local community. We are delighted to announce a two year sponsorship for Hemel Hempstead Football as well as support for St Bartholomews Church Wigginton. Director Marisha Romer, has just been appointed to the PCC and is looking forward to supporting the activities, and community profile as well as the charities that benefit from St Bartholomews.
